Sintered Stone Kitchen Island-Summer Vacation Villa
The design case shared here began with a summer vacation home. The family includes a husband and wife and three children of various ages who visit the residence on weekends for relaxation in addition to hosting family and friends.
From a usage point of view, since people don't live in the villa for a long time, it was decided to use sintered stone for the kitchen countertops. sintered stone has high-quality scratch-resistant, water-resistant, and stain-resistant properties, which reduces the frequency of maintenance
The concept of the design was to use 50% of the total area of the house for socializing and interaction, including the kitchen, dining room, living room, pool, and steam room. The remaining space is used as bedrooms for family members. The colors are overall coordinated with the earth and plants found in nature.
The Kitchen Is Important
Extra Long Kitchen Island
Socializing and interacting is the main purpose of a vacation. The kitchen's extra-long island countertop is designed to carry the overarching function. Made with sintered stone, it is easy to clean after use.
Sintered stone is extremely hard and can be used by more than one person at the same time.
Sintered stone is waterproof, stain-resistant and abrasion-resistant.
Sintered stone's food-grade contact properties will allow you to indulge in the pleasure of good foods.
In the background, concrete slabs and stone enclose the pool area. Timber is used in the rest of the space to complement the above materials and together they emphasize the natural texture.
